Terms of Service

These Terms govern your church's use of KlesiaNexus (the "Service"), operated by [Company Legal Name] ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your church or organization ("you").

1. The Service

KlesiaNexus is church management software providing tools for member records, care follow-up, attendance, groups, serving, giving, children's ministry, events, and related features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Free Trial & Subscription

New churches receive a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription (currently $72 per month, all features included). We will make clear when a paid subscription is required. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of your current paid period.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — they are handled directly by Stripe under their security standards. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Your Data

The information your church enters — member records, giving data, children's information, and other content — belongs to you. We act as a custodian to provide the Service. You may export your data at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and data. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for obtaining any consents your congregation or applicable law requires (including for storing information about minors), for keeping login credentials secure, and for using the Service lawfully and in keeping with its purpose of serving your church community.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other churches' data, disrupting the Service, or using it to send unlawful or abusive communications. Each church's data is isolated; any attempt to circumvent that isolation is a serious violation.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance and will aim to minimize disruption.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is," and our liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these Terms. On termination, you may export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
